Stars swirl in the sky as Vicent van Gogh’s masterpieces are brought to life using AI.

For this project, we were commissioned to deliver ‘Van Gogh Starry Night’ themed installations to support a music event. We used several of Van Gogh’s well known pieces, and made them swirl and dance by using AI, adding movement to the brushstrokes that the artist could only express with static oil paint.

We then projected one of these animated paintings onto a 4m wide canvas to form an eye-catching centrepiece across one end of the room. Behind the bar more paintings slowly moved and changed as the night went on.

Twinkling pixel-mapped LED festoons above the stage emphasised the ‘Starry Night’ aspect of the theme.
