The most famous statuette in the world comes to Wellington, and turns out to be surprisingly tall.

For an ‘Academy Award’ themed ball we used digital manufacturing to create a 2.5m high silhouette of the Oscar statuette. When the details were projected onto it, the flat projection board suddenly appeared to be 3D as if a giant Oscar was standing in the room. As the night went on, sparkles and glowing effects made the imposing statue even more eye-catching.
