Combining large-scale prop design, powerful projection mapping, and custom animation, Te Papa’s main foyer was transformed into Roman ruins as its towering granite pillars are overgrown with ivy.

We constructed several 2.4m high Roman columns, and projection mapped both these and Te Papa’s 20m high pillars with custom animated ivy, which continuously grew and withered as the night went on.
